Bolon Studio
In my last post it was the amazing carpet tiles that caught my eye. Graphic and fun and beautifully textured, and apparently incredibly hard wearing. A bit of internet sleuth work and I discovered Bolon a 64 year old Swedish (ofcourse! Most beautiful things find origion there) family owned company. The perfect solution for a commercial space but as the images in the Artilleriet post illustrate, also perfect in a home.

Dishing it out
I've spent days this past week making my new range of plates. So much fun, and strangely very therapeutic. Sitting for hours and getting the tiny little bubbles out from under the transfer allows for a lot of time to think about things...mostly about why I chose such large complicated transfers in the first place. The new plate shape and all white makes me very happy and I feel like I'm making progress. So as soon as they are out of the kiln, hopefully Friday! They will all be available at Anatomy Design.

I like it, what is it?
Again my deficit of Danish leaves me unable to tell you what this is. All I know is that I love it!

Come back down to earth
I spent last week in the bush, shooting with Elsa Young. Not answering my phone, ignoring emails...and there really is very little reception there (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!) So its back to business now. The busyness of the city. Luckily we had that public holiday thrown in, just to ease me back into things.
